Finding the right boat licence course for you and in the right location has been made easy by the number of different providers available around Australia. Whether you are looking for a full recreational boat licence with Jet Ski endorsement, just a boat licence on its own or an upgrade from your existing licence to include a Jet Ski endorsement, there are courses available for every need.
Interested in learning from some of the most skilled and experienced volunteers throughout Australia? Contact your local Australian Volunteer Coast Guard to find out when they are running their next Seamanship course. Courses are often run depending on new volunteer numbers and public interest, so pop your name down so you can jump onboard the next course.
There is no prior knowledge or experience required for these courses.
Often boat licence courses are run on demand, some requiring minimum numbers to attend. Some also have a maximum number of attendees. Therefore, course dates are subject to change and availability.
If you are looking for something specific, don’t be afraid to get in touch with a course provider and ask the question. Trainers are often flexible to meet the needs of their customers and if you don’t ask, you don’t know!
Boat licence course providers often run limited time discounts or savings when more than 1 person attends. It’s worth having a check on their website, grabbing a family member or friend and jumping on a course so you get your licence quickly, whilst saving money!
We’ve hunted high and low to find upcoming boat licence courses around Australia so you can find the best one for you and/or your mates to attend. We update this page regularly so if we’ve missed something, or something isn’t just right, let us know in the contact form at the bottom of the page and we’ll change it!
