Tips for booking fishing charters in Adelaide

Fishing charters in Adelaide are popular in South Australia. And this is intentional. Charter businesses need to get the most people on board, safely to ensure they cover their costs. Anything marine is unfortunately not cheap.

Therefore, the best way to get on a charter you want is to book early. This may feel like taking a risk with the weather, but there is the opportunity to reschedule if the wind is not on your side. The other alternative is to keep an eye on social media. Most operators use Facebook as their main social media platform. Here you’ll find last-minute cancellations or spaces which you could grab.

Not many deals are offered directly through their websites. However, many operators use websites such as Groupon and Scoopon to offer deals. These deals can be up to half the price, making quite a significant saving. If you haven’t used these websites before, you can also save 10% off your first purchase.

When these deals are on, you really will need to book ahead, often weeks ahead.

Just one thing to watch out for with these offers. Often charters are put on for customers with just these deals. Often they are people who haven’t been out fishing for a while, or maybe not at all. It’s a different experience for the die-hards to go out fishing often. From personal experience of fishing charters with and without deals, they are different. I guess what we’re trying to say is, you get what you pay for! Check out this review of a fishing charter we went on with a Scoopon deal and whether we’d do it again!
